Hi! My name is Joe Omweg and I would like to welcome you to Global Solar Supply. We are everything SOLAR under the sun! I am passionate about the solar industry. I spent 20 years working as an industrial electrician, testing, installing, and repairing electrical systems in both commercial and residential buildings. During this time I was often frustrated by the necessity to keep doing things the “old way” and depending on a fossil fuel economy.
Solar Just Makes Sense.
Prices on solar products are coming down while efficiency is rising. In fact, the cost of building a solar plant is cheaper than building one for coal or nuclear energy. One of my goals for Global Solar Supply is to help you design a solar model that works for you and is cost-efficient.

I bring my passion for clean energy and my vast experience to Global Solar Supply. I am a certified C-10 electrical contractor and fiber optics installer. In addition, I am thermal imaging level 1 accredited. I have worked with many 12, 24, and 48 volt DC power systems.
I can meet your industry needs as well, and have experience in the design and building of commercial structures. In addition, I have experience using supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA), Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) and other remote interfaced control systems.
For larger projects, 500kw to 1mw systems, we offer consultations.
